Unit5 On the farm (第一课时)教学设计
武进区九里小学 丁海波
教学目标
1.知识目标:能四会掌握单词 farm, carrot, cowmilk, pick, water, taste, pull up, cook, yesterday。能三会单词farm, National Day.并能听得懂,Autumn, harvest,orchard, juicy,acid,guava,等词汇和句子What did you do…? I …What else did you do?I …掌握一般动词过去式的基本变化和发音,了解一般过去时的基本形式。
2.能力目标:能用过去时态谈论自己在过去时间所做的事情;掌握人们在农场的基本活动的词组。
3.情感目标:激发学生对农场生活的兴趣,鼓励他们用英语交流自己的活动。
4.发展目标:通过新时态的学习培养学生的观察和归纳能力。
 
教学重难点
1.掌握本课单词和句型,能基本正确运用过去时态交流自己的活动。
2.了解动词过去式的基本变化和发音规则。
 
教学准备
1.多媒体课件。
2.黑板。
3. 实物展示。
 
教学过程
Step1: Free talk
1.      Greetings  
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls.    Ss:
T: Hi, boys and girls.               Ss:
T: Nice to see you.                 Ss:
2.      Small talk. Whos on duty?
T: Whos on duty,today? Hands up! S:
T: Whats the weather like ?      S:
T: Whats your everyday English? S:
 
T: Boys and girls. What day is it today?    S:
T: What date is it today?   S:
T: Oh, its in October. So Autumn has come. Its the harvest time.
T:Who are very happy and busy in Autumn? (workers/teachers or farmers?)      S:
T: Because farmers can have a good harvest. In picture1 farmers are harvesting the rice.
T: Whats in picture2?   S:(a lot of apples)
T: Do you like apples?    S:
T: So you like fruit, I think. S:
T: What fruit can you see in Autumn? (ppt)Look at the picture. 
S: (guavas)
Step2: Presentation (PartB)
1.      T: Most of you like fruit. Then shall we go to the orchard? S:
T: In the orchard, we can pick some pears.
T: In this orchard,what can you pick?   S: (pick some oranges)
2.      T: Look, I have some fruit here. What are they? S: (pears/oranges)
T: Do you like?           S: (They are juicy.)
T: Do you want to eat it?      S:   sweet/acid/nice
T: You can taste it after class.   S:
3.      T: Now look at Monkey King. What is Monkey King doing? S:
T: How about this woman? S: (taste the juice)
4.      T: , do you like juice?    S:
T: I dont like juice.  I like milk. (Milk is good for our body.)
T: Where’s the milk from?    S: (It’s from cows.)
T: Milk is a verb here,not a noun.
5.      T: On the farm, we can see some cows. What else can you see? S:
T: So I think there are some eggs here. We can collect eggs.
6.      T: Now we have some eggs here. Then our mothers can cook for us.
T: What can they cook?    S: (cook eggs)
7.      T: On the farm,there are some flowers,too. They are thirsty.
T: What should we do?   S: We should water the flowers.
8.      T: Look at this picture, are they flowers? S:
T: They are carrots. What animals like carrots? S:
T: Whats the rabbit doing?   S: pulling up carrots
9.      Say a rhyme.
Step3: Presentation and practice (PartC)
1.        T: Look at this calendar.What date was it? S: ( Oct. 1st)
 T: Which Festival was it?         S: National day.
 T: How old is China?      S:
 
   T: Today is the19th of Oct. Yesterday was the 18th of Oct.
     T: I watched TV yesterday on Monday. What did you do?
T: I listened to music,too. What else did you do?
1.        Work in pairs. (4 pictures)
2.        介绍过去式的发音   Read together once.
3.        介绍过去时态中动词过去式变化规则 Read together once.
Step4: Consolidation
     Activity, Small talk after class
Step5: Assign homework
     Read and copy the new words.
